In the realm of inner space and sonic vibration we may experience the present and future in harmony. Through visible and invisible pathways you become a resonant sentient instrument. As your body experiences the vibrations of sound and physical motion you are moved physically and experientially. With this Sonic Platform, or “SomnambuTable,” time and space travel occurs in the most essential of forms.
You will also experience the rumbling motion produced by low level audio, and hear the normal range of human sound frequency by waves of sound accessing the ear canal as you journey through a sonic landscape. As you lie down you will feel a series of sounds pulsing and vibrating through the physical space inside of your body. In fact, the entire space of the platform is a conduit which turns the human body into an amplification device. Created using transducer technology, the platform allows you to feel pulsations of sound moving directly through your body.
